As you all know, Splint Mail cannot be bought in episode 1. However, you can see that General Wesc has got Splint Mail in his save. For me, I used the Clone Monster cheat to clone Hrungnir - at least a thousand times. After killing a number of them, I got several suits of Splint Mail, including a few enchanted ones, and also the much rarer elixir of healing. At present, I've only got a few suits of enchanted Splint Mail which increase AC. I'm aiming towards a suit of Splint Mail which can resist drain life.
OMFG! I've got an error which said "Warning: Low Local Memory, Freeing description strings". I guess this was because I cloned Hrungnir too many times! I continued cloning Hrungnir, and then all of a sudden all the Hrungnirs in the room stopped moving!!! I saved the game and tried to reload it, but there was an illegal operation! Can anyone explain this?

it happens when you have too many creatures or items on the screen. no matter how fast your computer is or how much memory it has...it'll happen if you go overboard like that.
