Hey there everyone,


Glad to find a forum dedicated to the game, I'm really enjoying it. Trouble is I only started looking for a forum on the game after I started having trouble with the game. I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I've probably just missed something but at the risk of feeling like an idiot, I think it's about time I asked for help.


I've done pretty much everything that needs to be done in Castle of the Winds 1. I've killed the evil annoying Hill giant guy surounded by ogres and I've put on the amulet but I can't figure out where to go from there.


As a matter of fact, I thought i might have stuffed up the first time when after three days and killing every creature I could find I still couldn't win. I got some cheat off the net which refreshes levels by pressing shift 0 while standing on top of a staircase going downwards so i could try killing hill giant guy again, but all that happened was I got another amulet of Kings. By the time I got seven of them I decide it was about time I sold some of them but I made sure I kept one.


I just don't know where to go from here. HELP ME!!!!...please...

Oh well. Thanks a bundle. Now I can finally start the second game.

Nice to see this game's still being played
one of the most amusing rpg's i ever played
one tip, don't use too much level up potions, coz your xp will count backwards;)

Yeah, those level ups can just stop working... I always save before drinking one, so I can sell them if they don't work. But if a potion doesn't do its job, you have NO WAYS of forcing it to.

As much as your comment is appreciated, you just replied to a 17-month old thread. This board is long gone and is collecting cyber-dust. However, there is an active CotW board here

Ah, thank you for the explanation. I've known some old forums where people keep replying from time to time, with great intervals. But if there's an active board, I shall visit it. Sorry for bothering the cyber-dust.
